some things i remembered from my trip up to dP:
i arrived late friday night to stay through saturday and leave early sunday morning. in between leaving work, packing, resting a bit before driving up and then leaving early sunday to catch momz on her return journey home to the philippines (after 20+ years here!) the weekend felt full and i was just glad to be at deer park.

this time around it felt a lil' different. my discussion group apparently experienced some difficulties with one of the facilitators. i hope sometime during the weekend, it was communicated through a bit more. either way though, i got to see some old friends, (wdup brother phap ngu, brother phap khi) and of course, i got to praktis with folks of color - and to listen to thay.

inspiring to read others reflect about the retreat and dharma rain felt...i'll take some time this weekend to sit and write a bit too. that'll be a good thing.
