Invitation: Writings on Engaged Buddhism...YOU!

Dear brothers and sisters, warm spring greetings from Deer Park.

Thay very much wants to publish a book on Engaged Buddhism written collectively by practitioners in our tradition. We have a number of practitioners in mind for most of the topics we want to cover, but we need help finding authors for the following topics:

rural development
mass media: journalists, TV, etc.
caring for the dying
single parents
parents and children-- bridging the generation gap
sports: athletes, trainers, coaches, commentators, etc.
artists & cultural workers
helping professionals (nurses, physicians who work in emergency rooms, etc.)

We would like to hear about the author's personal transformation through mindfulness in their work, as well as how they have brought the practice into the world: how it has helped transform their work situation or relationships.
